Originally named “IRIE”, the land of the humming bird (Hummingbird), Trinidad and Tobago is blessed with these diligent little creatures, whose presence pollinates not only or (our) abundant flora, but also our imaginations. Symbolic since the times of our original inhabitants, it makes its energetic appearance in myths, legends and our Cost (Coat) of Arms, our oral traditions and even our futures.

The Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute feels proud to have this enduring symbol as part of our identity. For us it symbolized the Institute’s constant upward movement in its search for excellence. 

Our logo holds true to the dedication, perseverance and energy many of our associates have given and continue to give to the field of insurance. 

Ours is a history of being diligent pollinators and admiring the results blooming beautifully.
