ATTIC provides industry representation on operational issues that influence our corporate values. This workshop will create a better understanding and appreciation of the ethical standards by which our industry operates and hopes to strengthen relationships with all stakeholders and in particular with our customers.
The corporate values of our membership will not be disturbed as we hold steadfast to the principles of integrity, honesty and fair play. Our ethical standards will continue to support our goal in the service to our customer.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the ethical standards by which our industry operates as out forward by the Association of Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Companies.
- Deepen the knowledge base for locally created content as it relates to the industry.
Mr. Sookdeo Beepath joined the insurance industry in Trinidad and Tobago in 1972 as a clerical officer. Thereafter, he began taking courses in several insurance disciplines at the Academy of Insurance.
He continued his insurance education in Mumbai, India and Zurich, Switzerland. Mr. Beepath holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Industrial Relations. He is also a Certified Financial Planner. He read for his MBA in Business Management at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
Sookdeo served as President of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute and the Association of Insurance Institutes of the Caribbean. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Trinidad & Tobago Insurance Companies (ATTIC) and Chairman of its Claims Committee. He currently lectures to the Bachelor’s Degree in Risk and Insurance at the University of the West Indies.
