Retirement - Income Generating and Investment Products

This highly interactive workshop provides participants with knowledge and understanding of the role that retirement, investment and income generating products such as annuities, group pensions group health and National Insurance play in the local insurance industry and policyholders (individuals). Participants will also understand how they can provide sound financial advice to prospective and existing clients on their retirement options.

At the end of the session, participants will:

• Become knowledgeable on the role of annuities, group pensions, group health and national insurance play in the local insurance industry and to policyholders.
• Understand the key features and benefits of annuities.
• Understand taxation of annuities including applicable Inland Revenue limits
• Provide sound advice to clients on the best options available for retirement, investment and income generating products.

Mr. Miller is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist; Fellow of the Life Management Institute; and an Associate of the Insurance Regulatory Compliance. He is an adept change manager with special experience in leveraging IT. He has a highly successful track record in Customer Relationship and Strategic Management and Scenario Planning. Well known among the Professional Institutions as the Industry steward and champion of improved standards (insurance and finance), he is the Past President of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute; Past President of the local LOMA Society of FLMI’s and 1st VP of the Association of Insurance Institute of the Caribbean, as well as, a graduate of the ANSA McAL Leadership Development Series. Mr Miller is no stranger to the industry.
