Labour Law Part 2 -The Industrial Relations Act and The Maternity Protection Act
This interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with knowledge on the framework by which trade disputes are handled under the Industrial Relations Act Chap. 88:01(IRA). Participants will also understand ILO Conventions No 003 (Maternity Protection 1919), No 103 (Maternity Protection Revised 1952) and No 183 (Maternity Protection 2000) have moulded the Maternity Protection Act Chap 45:57 and understand what are the rights of a pregnant worker and the obligations of the employer to that worker.
