This workshop aims at understanding the fundamentals of ethical practice that are associated with the business of insurance: both mandated requirements, as well as expected standards.
The workshop takes a practical approach by reviewing real-life case studies that illustrate the challenges that arise regarding the topic of ethics.
The participants will review the best practices of ethical principles as it relates to business. There is an emphasis on the standards and ideals that can enhance performance.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Become knowledgeable on the do’s and don’ts of good salesmanship
- Reinforce appropriate standards of behavior and ethical sales practices
- Examine case studies.
Mr. Miller is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist; Fellow of the Life Management Institute; and an Associate of the Insurance Regulatory Compliance. He is an adept change manager with special experience in leveraging IT. And has a highly successful track record in Customer Relationship Management and Strategic Management and Scenario Planning.
Well known among the Professional Institutions as the Industry steward and champion of improved standards (insurance and finance), he is the Past President of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute; Past President of the local LOMA Society of FLMI’s and 1st VP of the Association of Insurance Institute of the Caribbean, as well as, a graduate of the ANSA McAL Leadership Development Series. Mr Miller is no stranger to the industry.
