Mr. Dookeran, a member of the TTII’s Board of Governors is a senior insurance practitioner for more than 25 years. He is currently an Executive Director of a leading brokerage firm and has honed his skills in underwriting in all classes of General Insurance Business.   Navin is the holder of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Heriot Watt University, Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute London and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the American Insurance Institute. He also attended the prestigious Alois Alzheimer Scholarship at Munich Re in Germany where he learned further insurance, reinsurance and business principles over the 6-month period. Mr. Dookeran is a part-time lecturer with the TTII, and has lectured at the University of the West Indies for the Insurance and Risk Management Degree Programme.
