This interactive workshop will guide participants through the identification of industry-related, ethical dilemmas and the creation and implementation of a digital ethics scorecard, using a combination of strategic insights and interactive working sessions. The workshop is intended for both individuals operating as agents within an organisation or those managing independent insurance agencies or brokerages.
At the end of the session, participants would:
• Be exposed to latest trends in technological and digital developments and how they can impact the industry
• Learn how to future-proof for unethical digital behaviour.
• Learn how to create a digital ethics scorecard.
• Be exposed to trading on reputation.
Mr. Sookdeo Beepath joined the insurance industry in Trinidad and Tobago in 1972 as a clerical officer, and began his insurance education at the Academy of Insurance, founded by the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute (TTII). He continued his insurance educational pursuits at renowned international institutions in Mumbai, India and Zurich, Switzerland.
Mr. Beepath holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Industrial Relations. He is also a Certified Financial Planner. He read for his MBA in Business Management at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
He also served as President of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute and the Association of Insurance Institutes of the Caribbean, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Trinidad & Tobago Insurance Companies (ATTIC) and Chairman of its Claims Committee. Mr. Beepath currently lectures on the Bachelor’s Degree in Risk and Insurance at the University of the West Indies.
