TTII is proud to reintroduce its updated MICIA - Motor Insurance Loss Adjusting and Investigation Course to the 2015 class schedule lineup. This programme which has been under review for sometime is newly restructured to have content that is current and pertinent, while placing more emphasis on practicum.

Seema Rampartap is a dedicated wife, employee and student at The UWI. Undaunted by a daily commute from Rio Claro for her full-time job at Massy United Insurance, nor by the death of a friend and study partner, this final year student enrolled in the B.Sc. Insurance and Risk Management at The UWI still managed to grab a GPA of 3.55!

“Domestic capital lacking for development”
There is not enough domestic capital available in T&T to support local development says the former Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Mariano Browne, who spoke yesterday at a conference hosted by the Department of Management Studies of the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. The event was a collaborative effort by the T&T Insurance Institute (TTII), the Association of T&T Insurance Companies (ATTIC) and UWI held at the Daaga Auditorium at the St Augustine Campus.
